About Johanna
My name is Johanna, I grew up in Germany and moved to the UK in 2018 to pursue my Bachelor's degree in English and Media Studies. Ever since starting to study I have been teaching English as a hobby. I simply enjoy sharing my knowledge and am passionate about helping others. As of this September, is started a Master's course in Communication and PR and am currently looking to take on new clients.

With a background in English literature I have been teaching English as a second language to several different people, from teenagers to adults. Due to having a TEFL certification I am highly qualified and flexible in my teaching style and the resources I can access. Next to my studies, I have been teaching English since 2018, raising my students grades from D's to B+ and higher. A typicall lesson with me is 60 minutes long, I develop lesson plans for each student focusing on their individual needs-strength and overall goals. Hence, my teaching style is suitable for everyone ('school English' to business English). Also, it is very important to me to create a comfortable learning environment for my students so that they feel welcome and can learn to the best of their ability.
