About Xuan
Hello! My name is Xuan, and I am currently a senior at the University of California, Irvine. I am an English major with a Specialization for Future Teachers, and am minoring in creative writing. I have a passion for teaching the younger generation creative writing. I believe writing is a great way to inspire others and to spread more creativity in the world!
I have had two years of experience tutoring English at the elementary and middle school level. I am currently a study skills mentor at Venado Middle School where I assist students with their homework and give advice on beneficial work habits.

I have a passion for teaching creative writing and English literature. My teaching method is constructive and cognitive. It involves collaborating with the student on their own thoughts and ideas while using mind maps and comprehension charts.
My lessons are for any scholars from elementary school to high school. A typical lesson plan will start off with a fun writing activity to stimulate creativity and then, branching off onto any questions/concerns the student has about their schoolwork.
