Hi!
I’m Marie Moreno.
I am currently working on my bachelors degree in english and history.
I have a true passion for reading and writing, including research essay work.
What I enjoy most about tutoring is the smaller ratio of students to teacher, giving my students more individual time for personalized learning.
I assure with me that grades will go up and their will be significant improvement in a child's reading and writing skills.

My teaching strategy consists first identifying what specifics need to be worked on. Then we will together review and rework those specifics until the student meets our goal.
Before we even begin the lesson we will go over what we are doing (reading, writing, spelling, etc.) so I can be prepared of what we are doing. The first part of our lesson will be prepping with student so they can be prepared and understand the lesson goal. The main part of the lesson will be teaching and discussing the material with practice. The final part of the lesson will be a short review and discussion to make sure the student understands what and how they did.
I specialize in reading comprehension skills and essay writing. I enjoy helping others write the best piece they can.
I can also help with homework!
I can teach 3rd-9th English.
