About Dania
I have a BA in English and I am in the process of getting my masters in communications, media, and writing. I really began private lessons in English since high school, that is where I knew I wanted to help because I saw many of my peers in ESL classes having difficulties with the material despite the teacher's assistance. In college, I tutored English privately. I have taught one-to-one and in groups. This was a volunteer opportunity, I did not want the pay because I valued the experience over any monetary gain. Many of the past students I have tutored have verbally told me that they no longer feel a burden when they communicate, because they are able to speak with fluency and make little to no grammatical mistakes. They appreciated my kind and patient nature, and they valued my lesson plans. I love English because of my father, a retired professor, and I want to share that love with others. I have a dream of constantly helping others, and I want to help you achieve your potential, and make you grow as a person. I have a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certificate as well because I wanted to teach English abroad and sharpen my skills in the academic domain.

I give lessons to any group and age, I have more experience in the teenage and adult setting (high school-college level) but I am open to tutoring all students. My method of instruction is student centered. I give the lesson details and provide examples, and then I observe you and help you with any difficulties that may arise. I am a listener; I listen first to you, and then I make my observations aloud. This is very important to me, and it's important for growth
