About Elizabeth
Hi, my name is Elizabeth and I am a second year English student at Durham University. I received an A* in English Literature at A-Level and have hitherto been receiving consistent firsts and high 2:1s in my marked university studies. I have always had a great passion for reading and literature from Harry Potter to Virginia Woolf.

I can help students reach the grades they require to pass their English exams by having a down to earth approach and a great passion for literature. I can also help students achieve their desired 8-9s at GCSE or As and A*s for A-level, if they are doing well but are struggling to raise their grades further, something which can be a great difficulty in a subject with such vague rules and regulations. The key is to write essays with a question-orientated rhetorical voice within a tight structure which I am happy to help develop.
I can offer in-person tutoring in the Durham and Newcastle area during my term time and around Hertford and Ware outside of term time. Otherwise I can tutor online over video call.
