About Mollie
I have experience as a writer in industry, having worked as a journalist; copywriter and ghost writer before joining the teaching profession. This knowledge helps me develop lifelong literacy skills among my students; I am able to practically demonstrate how useful these skills are.
I work together with my students to develop their confidence and fluency in both written and spoken English, so they can communicate with ease and eloquence, no matter where they go.
I also have experience as a GCSE examiner and have empowered students to achieve the results they need to enter some of the finest Universities in the world or to attain apprenticeships and pursue their passions. I am TEFL qualified and have experience working with second language English speakers as well as those with special educational needs.
I am dedicated to helping my students fulfill their potential and exceed their expectations.

I build strong relationships with my students and am passionate about helping them achieve excellence.
I guide my students through the steps and techniques required for exceptional written work, as well as empowering them with the tools they need for better independent study and success in the classroom.
As a classroom teacher of 11-18 year olds, I work with students with a range of prior attainments, helping with those with significant barriers to learning as well as those that just need that extra challenge to achieve their full potential.
Lessons typically last an hour and involve guidance and demonstrations of analytical skills; collaborative and independent written work that is then reflected and improved upon. Students have consistently shown significant progress.
