About Charlotte

I am a year 13 student aiming to study at a top Russell Group University after sixth form. Although I have always loved my education and learning, more than that I love socialising and people. So, I hope that next year I can travel and explore the world before heading to university. I want to volunteer all over Asia and Africa with various people and animals! In terms of English, I have always loved English Language and it’s something that has come naturally to me, however English Literature didn’t even by my year 11 mocks. But, I dived into my novels and poetry which allowed me to not only discover a passion for it, but also a knack for it- I hope to pass both of these aspects onto my students. I haven’t always loved or been naturally amazing at every single aspect of English, but I hope to show my student that that’s okay and normal! I now study English Literature at A-level.

About the lesson

I am an enthusiastic yr 13 student. I love studying English literature, psychology, and history A-level! I want to carry this passion for learning into my sessions. My sessions are fairly flexible in length, but the standard is 1 hour. I aim to build students' confidence, so that they always have the means to try their best and feel comfortable in taking risks, whilst feeling supported in doing so. I want to change students' attitudes of ‘I’m not very good’ and ‘it’s boring’, by creating a fun atmosphere of discussion. I want to get to know my students in order to find learning styles and provide revision resources which help them achieve top grades.
