About Poppy
I really enjoy studying English at school and would love to pass some of that passion on to younger students. Given that I am still in school, I remember clearly taking all the entrance exams and can relate with tutees. I found the English aspect of the 11+ initially quite difficult to grasp but with the support of my teachers and tutor, I came to be confident when taking the exams and I hope I can empower your child to feel the same way.

I am currently in my second year of A levels and am predicted an A* for English and would love to help younger students extend their reading and writing skills. I’m open to lesson timings but would typically recommend an hour. I have previously tutored past students for both 11+ creative writing and comprehension and helped with GCSE English Language coursework.
