About Joana
Student, 23 years old, currently in the 2nd year of the course "Foreign Languages and Cultures". I studied at Colégio de Nossa Senhora do Rosário in Porto, where I learned English since I was 6 years old. Since then, I studied English intensively until I was 18 years old. I completed Cambridge exams. One of my greatest pleasures in life is travelling and getting to know different cultures. English is the language we hear and speak the most in curent times and therefore crucial for personal and professional life. Although I have no concrete experience in the area of tutoring, I have always helped others to achieve their goals in the area of English. Although English can be daunting for many, mastering the English language brings great benefits! It helps us navigate the world we live in, see and hear differently, opens professional doors for us and helps us socialize with others.

Although I have no concrete experience in the area of tutoring, I have always helped others to achieve their goals in the area of English. Although for many English can be scary, the mastery of the English language has great benefits! It helps us to navigate the world we live in, to see and hear differently, it opens up professional doors for us and helps us to socialize with others. My methodology involves getting to know the person first and what they feel most comfortable with. Everyone is different, with different rhythms and each one deserves different attention. I am a patient, motivating, respectful and smiling person. I am always ready to help others. We are all capable of overcoming our difficulties, as long as we believe in ourselves and work for it! I´m here to help!
