About Rachel

I am an English instructor looking to help others discover new ways of thinking about language use. I have been a Teaching Assistant (TA) at Brock University for the past two years with the Classics and Archaeology Department and was a Teacher's Assistant at Fleetwood Park Secondary School for Physical Education and Arts and Humanities for grades 8 and 9 as well as a tutor for math. Outside of academics, I coached figure skating and softball to children and some adults of all ages and abilities, including special needs.

About the lesson

As an English Tutor, I provide assistance in learning about poetry, interpreting texts, reading, and creative writing. I strive to help students reach their potential by showing them how to take their ideas and make them concrete. I am based out of Southampton, ON.
