About Elizabeth
I have a background in education and have loved the teaching of English lit and grammar as long as I can remember. I have also been a reading teacher and enjoyed opening the eyes of children to the world of words and ideas.

If I am teaching reading to children with learning disabilities, my methodology usually involves working with phonics and word structure. If I am teaching literature or grammar it usually involves backing up and relearning rules in a way that can be fun. When teaching literature it is usually it involves getting the attention of the student and discovering the joy of the writer.
