About Justin
I am an experienced English tutor who has worked with students at the elementary, middle-school, high-school, and undergraduate levels. I have taught a variety of topics, including grammar, reading comprehension, and literary analysis. I am also a skilled editor with experience editing academic, professional, and creative writing. I am an honors graduate of a top research university where I achieved a 4.0 GPA across the English and writing intensive classes I enrolled in. I scored a 780/800 on the verbal portion of the SAT. I am a published and award-nominated poet.

Justin helped me with editing the first chapter of my PhD thesis. He went through my writing very thouroghly and made excellent suggestions. English is my second language, and writing long manuscripts in English is a challenge. Justin spotted points of weaknesses in my writing very well and explained how I can address them. For example, he showed me how I can re-arrange my paragraphs or rephrase my sentences to make my writing more coherent. I applied what I had learned from Justin when I was writing my next chapters, and my first drafts need a lot less editing!
