About Lakshman
I am a graduate with a penchant to spread the word about good English as both a general conversational medium and emerging professional form of communication.
I have taught students with varying levels of understanding of English.
What makes me suitable as an English language teacher is:
1) Passion for the English language
2) A deep understanding of the psychology and apprehensions of the student/students that learn English.
When I was a student, I remember the challenges that I faced in certain subjects that I was not good at. I tend to feel sometimes that if I were taught in the proper way, I could have done better in those subjects. So, I make it a point to address the issues of the students from a basic level and teach them from that stand-point so that it becomes easy for them to comprehend.
I also feel that it is the duty of the teacher to ensure that learning doesn't become a tedious or boring process but a thoroughly enjoyable one.
My wish is to spread knowledge about the intricacies of the English language to interested students so that they don't feel left behind by the rest of the competition in their future endeavors.

I base my teaching depending upon the requirement of the student/students.
For new comers or students with a very basic understanding of English, I adopt a meticulous step by step approach so that the foundation is laid properly for them. This, I believe will help them to steadily go to higher levels of comprehension of the English language in its various forms.
For students with a strong understanding of the basics of English but yearning to get a much better grip of the language, my teaching approach would be according to their requirement.
I am very comfortable teaching students from school level to college level.
