About Frankie
I am warm, supportive, and skilled at adapting learning experiences to each individual. I am a poet, spoken word artist, and playwright with a professional arts practice since 2014. I have also worked in educational settings and within community resource settings to support young adults to secure and maintain employment and develop leadership skills.
I have diverse experience working with students of all backgrounds, including those with learning disabilities, ADHD, and Autism in education and arts-based learning environments. I am confident supporting diverse learners and supporting students to learn a broad spectrum of English language and literature skills.

I work with a strengths-based approach and draw on students' interests to help them learn. I adapt my approach to the learning needs of each student, and work creatively to make learning engaging.
Alongside experience teaching young adults employment-related writing skills, I draw from my practice as a poet and playwright. I can help students develop professional writing skills, sharpen their creative writing, learn literature analysis skills, and practice oral communication for a variety of contexts.
I am confident working with students on basic reading comprehension, writing, and oral communication skills, all the way up to the undergraduate level.
