About Steffie
I've spent a great deal of time tutoring young children and have a great deal of patience. I have an 11 year old autustic son who we completed the app 1000 books before Kindergarten. I read over 1600 books to him. In return he read over 600 books to me. We did so well that we had to add a second profile for the books he read to me. When he entered preschool he was reading 3 years over his grade level. I have 10 years working with young kids teaching them to read and how to sound out their words. I pride myself in my students not only in learning to read but excelling in their reading.

I'm a firm believer that an early introduction to reading is key for success. A class that is fun makes it easier to stay focused and dedicated. I'm here to teach basic English and Spanish reading skills to everyone from toddlers to senior citizens alike. I have 7 yrs of class time learning Spanish. Learning a second language can be very difficult. I'm here to make reading it a little bit easier. Reading Spanish helps with pronunciation and grammar structure and helps strengthen basic skills.
