About Leonardo
My methodology is direct and customized teaching, where at first, considering the student's particular objective, I evaluate its knowledge and create a 100% custom content. My focus is always to create insights so the student understands the content on their own form, in pratice, without boring technical terms and decorations (although some content requires it, such subjects are minority), but the real use of it in real life! All of this is designed to make progression natural and according to the student. It is important to note that I use this approach in both Portuguese and English language teaching. In addition, I also highlight that my methodology focuses on rapid progression, so another goal is to make the student understand content with the fewest possible classes, adding value to my work.

I am a student of English and Portuguese Letters, I have an intermediate technical knowledge in linguistics, having as preference the Descriptive view of the language. I am a linguistic person who has learned English in a self-taught way. I currently teach colloquial Portuguese (focusing on real language use, in addition to grammar) to foreigners, but I also make myself available for Portuguese classes for Brazilians, focusing on grammar or other particular objectives, as well as English classes focusing on real use of English by natives, beyond simple robotic phrases or grammar without application in real conversation.
