About Lowri
I am an undergraduate student at the University of Exeter studying English and French and am passionate about my subjects, so I am keen to use my enjoyment of studying English in a way that would help others. I have spent the last seven months teaching English in a French high school focusing on oral and literature lessons, but am able to help with reading and writing as well.
I speak both English and Welsh fluently, and am currently learning French.

I can offer online lessons with flexible hours for students up to A-level in English language, literature and reading. I have experience in supporting year 7 & 8 pupils in developing confidence in their reading. I am approachable and adaptable, as I feel it's important to ensure that the student's learning experience is as personalised as possible. I offer hour-long sessions and initially would discuss the student's targets and design a learning plan, including resources that would best meet these goals. I believe that self-assesment is an excellent way to develop confidence, so in cases where examples of the student's previous work are available, I would also use these as part of exercises to improve and so that the student gains confidence in their work.
