About Vanessa
I was raised by a teacher, and my mother eventually became my teacher for the final 3 years of high school. Assisting her with marking papers became very enjoyable for me because I had the opportunity to learn about a variety of things.
Teaching was not necessarily something I thought I would do as a career, but I see it as more of a calling now because I do not see myself doing anything else. I love working with people, I love teaching, and I love learning from different people.
As far as I am concerned, life is simply a giant lesson. We are all hear to teach, and learn from one another. It is an absolute privilege to earn a living through teaching, a noble profession indeed.

My teaching style is not only personalized, it is results driven. The objective is to achieve excellent results, so it is essential for me to understand the individual in order to manage expectations and results.
Obviously, things do not always go according to plan, however, I am very flexible and offer a variety of solutions to find the perfect fit for all!
English is my absolute favorite language, so that is always my basis. Xhosa is my home language, and I am proficient in Zulu and siSwati because they are in the Nguni family with isiXhosa.
I can teach English at an advanced level, isiXhosa at an intermediate level, and isiZulu at a basic level.
A typical lesson with me does not exist. All my lessons are unique, just like all individuals are unique.
My lessons are aimed at all students of all ages, mostly young children up to the age of 16, simply because I adore children!
