Following several years working in the Commercial and non-profit sectors, I completed a Master’s degree in English and Japanese. In Ukraine I was recognized for my expertise in the Japanese language and I held positions in the Japanese Embassy in Kiev for a period of four years. I also worked on short-term assignments as a high-level interpreter for numerous Japanese delegations to Ukraine in such fields as agriculture, industry and journalism. I have held positions as a teacher of Japanese and English in three higher education institutions in Kyiv and Tokyo. I thus have relevant experience in teaching at a higher education level, delivering lectures to large groups of students, and individual tuition, both face-to-face and online, supporting students and assessing their progress.
