About Oran Luke

My name is Oran Luke Dineen. I am twenty-two years of age and currently enrolled in the Professional Masters of Education in University College Cork. My passion for English has always been steadfast, with reading and writing being an ever-present aspect of my University career and daily life. My confidence to teach English and be able to communicate efficiently stems from my six grades in Speech and Drama and Communication from Trinity College London. On top of this, my H1 leaving cert grade and University results ranging from a 2:1 to a 1:1 provide me with the knowledge to teach English to an advanced degree.

About the lesson

When it comes to learning a subject to its core, a person's ability and skill is never predetermined. It derives from patient practice and the willingness to work hard and consistently.

This process of learning dictates my teaching of English which provides students with the patient support and expertise required to enhance their English proficiency. From teaching students how to proficiently analyze and write poetry and literary essays, my teaching methodology centers around building the students' English skills from the bottom up.

The typical length of a lesson ranges from an hour to an hour and a half. My qualifications to teach English at this level derive from my H1 result in my Leaving Cert, as well as, my grades in University which range from a 2:1 to 1:1.

My lessons are tailored for all ages, to those who seek to improve their English skills regarding reading, and speaking, as well as secondary students who want to improve their grades and English ability
