About Susannah
I am an English and Drama student that has loved those subjects since I started school. The skills I’ve learnt have taken me on to do incredible things like intern for National Heritage Sites, and become President of my student academic society. I have a background in education; at my internship at Tuckers Hall I prepared lesson and engagement plans for young visitors, I have had work experience teaching at Tiverton High School, and over the summer I volunteered for the charity Coachbright - this in particular helped me gain great skills in producing digital tutoring content that is useful to pupils.

I base my classes on what the pupil is struggling with, and make a lesson plan based from there. I want their opinions and their learning to be at the centre of the process so that they also gain skills of independent learning. As such I’d ask them how they best learn and create learning content for them based on that, for example, creating a prezzi presentation if they found image based learning useful. I would continually monitor their progress by having a mini test at the start of each session, and creating small, creative homework tasks with them.
