About Miss

Hello, my name is Eyra. I am 21 years old and have just graduated from university with a first in English literature. I am tutoring on a full term basis currently. I have a large range of teaching experience and can provide references from a number of past pupils. I have been told that my approach to teaching makes it a relaxed, fun and enjoyable experience for my students as I have a very patient and approachable manner. I am happy to teach English language, English literature, English as a foreign language and creative writing. I prefer my classes to be taught online as I do not have means of transportation, I am however happy to travel short distances near me if you would prefer in person. I am well equipped for online lessons as I know this can be a concern. If you have any questions at all please feel free to contact me.

About the lesson

My online teaching experience has been amazing. teaching online English is obviously different from teaching in a classroom, although I have found to actually enjoy online teaching more than in the classroom. I`ve had to adapt the way I teach which was difficult to begin with but I did enjoy the challenge, but now I feel extremely confident and have explored new methods and activities that I wouldn`t have discovered without online learning. I feel overall it has made me become an even better tutor. Each student is different and has a set of needs and I feel now with online tutoring I`m able to give exactly what they need and even more, it has made me so much more accessible and most of my students love to do online rather than in person.
