About the lesson

SIGNIFICANT LEARNING:
Significant learning to distinguish it from the repetitive or rote memorial indicates the role that the student's prior knowledge plays in acquiring new affirmations.

Esteem that learning means understanding and for this it is an indispensable condition to take into account what the student already knows about what he wants to teach. He proposes the need to design for the teaching action what he calls previous organizers, a kind of cognitive bridges, from which students can establish meaningful relationships with the new contents.

It defends a didactic model of transmission - reception meaningful, that overcomes the deficiencies of the traditional model, when taking into account the starting point of the students and the structure and hierarchy of the concepts.

therefore, it is to know the previous ideas of the students.
for it the technique of the conceptual maps that is able to detect the relations that the students establish between the concepts. Through education, variations in conceptual structures are produced through two processes called progressive differentiation and integrative reconciliation.
