I am an engineering student about to go to university to study Mechanical Engineering. I have achieved a grade 8 GCSE Maths and have experience in teaching sailing and leading groups of young persons, both developing skill and confidence in themselves.

I teach giving a full explanation of the subject, then breaking it down into its key components and then allowing for the root of the theory/proof to be understood, only then building from that, learning with solid foundations. Repetition is the best way to influence retention, testing knowledge one week after, a fortnight after. Ensuring that the knowledge isn't lost over time.
