About Himesh
Hi, I'm Himesh — a Computer Engineering student at Thadomal Shahani Engineering College, and someone who's been teaching for over 5 years now, ever since I was in 10th grade myself.
Teaching isn't something I picked up as a side gig — it's genuinely been my passion since school. What started as helping juniors and classmates understand tricky concepts slowly turned into something I take seriously and love doing. Over the years, I've taught students across Grade 6 to Grade 10 in all subjects, and specialized in Physics and Chemistry for Grade 11 and 12 students preparing for their board exams.
Right now, alongside my engineering degree, I'm also working as an intern, which keeps me sharp, disciplined, and used to balancing multiple responsibilities well — a habit that carries directly into how I plan and structure my classes.
What I bring to my students is a mix of patience, clarity, and genuine care about whether they've actually understood a concept — not just memorized it. Having been a student myself not too long ago, I know exactly where most learners get stuck, and I make it a point to slow down exactly there instead of rushing through the syllabus.
I treat every student's learning pace as unique. Some need more visual explanations, some need repetition, some just need someone patient enough to explain the same doubt three different ways until it clicks — and I'm happy to be that person.
If you're looking for a tutor who genuinely enjoys teaching, is consistent, and treats your (or your child's) progress seriously, I'd love to be part of that journey.

My Teaching Approach:
I believe students struggle with Physics and Chemistry not because the subjects are hard, but because they're often taught through memorization instead of understanding. My approach is concept-first: before any formula or equation, I make sure the student understands the "why" behind it using real-life examples and simple analogies. Only once the concept is clear do we move to numericals and problem-solving, so students can apply their understanding to any question — not just the ones they've memorized answers to.
Class Structure:
A typical class follows three stages:
1. Quick recap (5-10 min) — reviewing the previous topic and clearing any doubts before starting new material
2. Concept building (20-25 min) — introducing the new topic with examples, diagrams, and step-by-step explanations
3. Practice and problem-solving (15-20 min) — working through numericals or exercises together, followed by a few questions for the student to try independently
I also share short notes or practice problems after each session so students have material to revise from between classes.
What Makes Me Different:
I've been teaching for over 5 years, starting from when I was in 10th grade myself — so I understand the exact struggles students face at each stage because I was recently in their shoes. I'm currently pursuing Computer Engineering, which means I bring strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills into how I explain Physics and Chemistry concepts, especially numerical-heavy topics. I adapt my teaching style to each student rather than using a fixed method for everyone — some students need more visual explanations, others learn better through practice repetition, and I adjust accordingly.
Who My Classes Are For:
I teach students from Grade 6 to Grade 10 across all subjects, and specialize in Physics and Chemistry for Grade 11 and 12 students, including those preparing for board exams and competitive exam foundations. My classes are suitable for students who want to build strong fundamentals, not just exam-oriented shortcuts
