I have been told that the way I talk to students while teaching really helps them to connect which in turn is useful to make them pay attention to the topic.
I usually begin with the very basics of the topic I am about to teach. I don't proceed with the lesson until I am sure that the student has understood whatever has been taught so far.
I have 3 years of experience with teaching middle and high-school students.
