I'm currently a senior in high school, I've been giving lessons since my sophomore year helping my friends pass their tests even when studying at the last minute haha.

I approach each topic by first asking if the student is familiar with it, if not, I show a set of examples and explain possible real-world applications for it. When learning something new in math it is always important to know how a certain problem might be used in the real-world so that students are more interested in the topic.
