About Thomas
I decided to get into teaching after I was elected the chair of the ASU swing dancing club after teaching there. I gained experience through consistent practice and study of the music, moves, and lines multiple times a week since 2023. I love meeting new people and dancing became an outlet for me to express who I truly was, and helping others reach that level of enjoyment was the next natural step for me.

My lessons can include line dancing tutorials and/or swing dancing instruction for beginners to intermediate students. For absolute beginners, starting with the basic steps of arizona style country swing and incorporating rhythm and groove is essential to setting my clients a step above all the other beginners at your local dancing venues. For leads who have gone before and are a bit more comfortable, the focus of the instruction turns more on flowing between moves and adding new moves and combos to a leads move set. For the follows, increasing responsiveness to a change in position and tension is on the forefront of the lesson.
