About Tatum
I earned a B.S. in engineering physics from LeTourneau University. Over 5 years I have tutored students in high school level math and physics, tutored for college level math and physics, and I have supported student in preparation for the math portion of college readiness exams. I taught high school physics and AP physics for a year.

I have specialized in one-on-one instruction of physics and mathematics for over 5 years. I will support a deep conceptual knowledge and have many tools for students to improve their word problem solving skills. After taking courses dedicated to physics education research and teaching under supervision of professors for 2 years I began tutoring on my own. Students who attended my small group sessions earned on average one letter grade higher than students who did not. I am passionate about my subject and love to make it relevant to you! I am encouraging and supportive as someone who originally struggled in STEM but found methods to overcome and succeed! I look forward to helping you do the same!
