About Logan

Hello! I'm currently pursuing a degree in Engineering Physics at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, with minors in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, and Computer Science. My academic background has given me extensive experience with mathematics, physics, and their applications to real-world engineering problems.

Through my university coursework and hands-on engineering projects, I've developed a strong understanding of both foundational and advanced mathematical and physical concepts. I'm passionate about these subjects and genuinely enjoy sharing that knowledge with others.

I understand that math and physics can be intimidating, especially when concepts begin to build on one another. My goal is to create a patient, encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through challenges at their own pace.

Whether you're a high school student building your mathematical foundation or a college student tackling more advanced coursework, I'm committed to helping you succeed and develop confidence in your abilities.

About the lesson

As an Engineering Physics student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, I have a strong background in mathematics and physics, and I enjoy helping others develop a deeper understanding of these subjects.

My teaching philosophy focuses on understanding concepts rather than simply memorizing formulas. I believe students learn best when they understand not only how to solve a problem, but why the solution works. I emphasize intuition, visual explanations, and step-by-step problem-solving to make difficult concepts easier to grasp.

My teaching approach:

I use a digital writing tablet and interactive whiteboard to work through problems in real time, allowing students to follow along, ask questions, and actively participate.

A typical lesson begins by identifying the student's goals and areas of difficulty. We then review the underlying concepts, work through example problems together, and gradually transition toward independent problem-solving to build confidence and understanding.

What I offer:

I tutor both high school and college students in subjects including Algebra, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus, and Physics. Whether you're struggling with foundational concepts, preparing for an important exam, or looking to strengthen your understanding of advanced material, I tailor each lesson to your individual needs and learning style.

My ultimate goal is to help students become confident, independent problem-solvers who can approach unfamiliar problems with a solid understanding of the principles behind them.
