About Aletia
I have tutored students for many years, working in an English reading club at my high school, then going on to lead the maths tutoring club at the same school. I was awarded a Jack Petchey for my work with tutoring in the school. While at university I tutored a variety of students within my course and the years below to help them gain the most they can from the degree. I currently work as an Engineer and use maths and physics in my day-to-day work life. As much as I have spent my life in education, I do have hobbies. I am a ski instructor and spend my weekends operating heavy machinery either for work or play.

I will offer 45min-1hr sessions for students who wish to advance their Engineering skills or maybe just need a little help grasping the subject. I do not offer longer sessions as students will become 'brain tired' and work becomes increasingly difficult. Before the first session I would request a short list of topics the student wishes to cover and a few sentences about the student's working style and if they have already identified reasons why they would like additional help. These sessions will be interactive, I can help with homework, marking work that has already been completed and can set tasks for the student to perform in their own time. I want to make engineering more interesting and maybe even fun for the student so they can enjoy their learning experience.
