About Menaka
I am an Electrical and Electronics Engineering graduate with strong academic, teaching, and research experience. I have worked as a Teaching Assistant at a university, where I supported undergraduate students with lectures, laboratory sessions, tutorials, practical work, and academic activities in Electrical and Electronic Engineering subjects.
I have also worked as an Assistant Lecturer, teaching and supporting university students in subjects such as Circuit Theory and Control Systems Engineering. This experience has helped me understand how to explain difficult technical concepts in a simple, clear, and step-by-step manner.
My academic background includes studies toward a Master’s in Optoelectronics Engineering at Xidian University, China, where I also gained research experience. Currently, I am studying a Master of Professional Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ), Australia.
My teaching areas include Mathematics, Circuit Theory, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Analog and Digital Electronics, Control Systems, Power Electronics, and related subjects.
As a tutor, I am patient, friendly, and supportive. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions. I focus not only on helping students find the correct answer but also on making sure they understand the concepts and can confidently solve similar problems independently.
Whether you need help catching up with lessons, understanding difficult topics, completing tutorials, or preparing for exams, I am happy to support you and help you achieve your academic goals.

Are you finding Mathematics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or other engineering subjects difficult? I’m here to help you understand them in a simple, clear, and practical way.
I am an Electrical and Electronics Engineering graduate with university-level teaching and tutoring experience. I previously pursued a Master’s in Optoelectronics Engineering at Xidian University, China, where I gained valuable research and technical experience. Currently, I am studying a Master of Professional Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ), Australia.
I have experience teaching and supporting university students in subjects including Mathematics, Circuit Theory, Analog and Digital Electronics, Power Electronics, Control Systems, Electrical Machines, and related engineering areas.
My tutoring approach is friendly, patient, and personalized. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adjust my teaching style according to your level and learning needs. Rather than simply giving you answers, I will help you understand the theory, work through problems step by step, and develop the confidence to solve questions independently.
Whether you need help understanding difficult lessons, completing tutorials, preparing for exams, improving your problem-solving skills, or strengthening your basic knowledge, I can support you.
My goal is to make challenging subjects easier and help you feel more confident in your studies. If you are looking for a supportive tutor who can explain complicated concepts in an easy-to-understand way, I would be happy to help you achieve your academic goals.
