About Melanie
My name is Melanie. I am here to teach and have all my students get straight As. I am willing to work with my students to help find the best method for their learning. Sometimes sitting in a class and listening to a lecture is not for everyone. I want to explore different techniques, such as, videos, examples and practice problems to get my students to learn in their own way.

I like to assess the students ability before getting started.
- First I will ask for an overview on the syllabus.
- Then I will go over what sections the student needs help with.
- A typical lesson plan would look like:
1. Quick overview of topic with examples.
2. Practice problem for the student with my assistance.
3. Practice problem for the student to perform alone.
4. Overview of what the student is still not grasping
5. Set up practice to do after (if needed).
- I really enjoy teaching and I am patient with my students. I want them to learn everything I have to teach, so I am always willing to modify my teaching methods to better the students' experience.
