About Miria
I am currently studying a double degree in Engineering and Science at QUT with an intention to major in Electrical/Aerospace Engineering and Physics.
In 2024, I graduated QCE Physics, Chemistry, Math Methods and Specialists Math's. Other areas of interest and tutoring are Japanese language (please see profile for more info).
For me, tutoring consolidates past material which assists with what I want to study in the future, especially when it comes to STEM subjects. If you're looking for a tutor that chronically scans the ingredients list at the back of products to look up the substances for fun, that is me. I can guarantee that I will bring my curiosity to your subject area of interest too!

In the subjects of Math Methods, Physics and Chemistry at high school level, I aim to help students achieve the following:
- build a strong foundation in fundamental knowledge,
- polish knowledge application,
- gain self-confidence along the way!
I use techniques such as "I Do, We Do, You Do" (e.g., I complete an example question, next do one with the student, and then give the student a question to complete on their own). I welcome any and all questions that comes to mind.
Students are encouraged to bring a copy of their coursework planner to lessons as it will help identify exactly what needs attention in lessons. (I use QCAA as a rough guideline, however what and when content covered may vary between schools.)
Lesson length is one hour. Location is flexible but may vary between each student.
