About Thandiswa
I am currently a first year student studying medicine who has a passion for helping and teaching others. I just completed matric last year with 7 distinctions with the experience and knowledge of knowing it is not an easy journey and one which requires perseverance and support. That is why I also prioritize mental health in students as this leads to optimum results and confidence.
I was apart of the tutoring committee at my school from grade 9 to grade 11 where after I managed to accumulate 98 hours of service tutoring hours. So I have a good amount of experience teaching high school science which I really love to do.

My method of teaching is a very conversational one whereby there is a lot of questioning and answering taking place. This is to ensure that the student fully understands the concepts, that even their smallest of questions are being heard and that they feel comfortable which is the most important thing to me.
Students can expect from a typical lesson short, simple notes to easily grasp concepts, past paper questions and step-by-step teachings by me whereby we will go through all the material.
One concept will be thoroughly explained each lesson to ensure the student is not overwhelmed and can fully understand.
I am proficient and teach in English.
