About Watosin

My vocal coaching thrives on project-based learning, where students work towards a final goal such as a performance, recital, or audition. Each project is broken into smaller milestones—song selection, lyric interpretation, technique polishing, stage presence—allowing students to see the full arc of vocal preparation. This model instils time management, goal-setting, and self-discipline. Throughout the project, students keep a practice journal, track progress, and reflect on challenges and growth.

I also simulate real-world performance conditions through mock auditions, mic practices, and stage blocking. These experiences cultivate not only vocal skills, but confidence, resilience, and independence. Students emerge from each project with a concrete accomplishment and a deeper sense of their capabilities, transforming their learning into a journey of artistic growth and achievement.

About the lesson

Over the past 8 years, I have had the privilege of helping over 300 high school and college students achieve their vocal potential. My teaching approach is student-centred, focusing on tailoring lessons to meet the individual needs of each learner. I work with students to simplify complex topics such as breath control, pitch accuracy, and vocal projection, ensuring they understand the principles behind each technique and how to apply them effectively. I incorporate innovative teaching techniques, such as interactive vocal exercises, performance coaching, and musical theory to enhance both technical skill and artistic expression.

Whether students are preparing for auditions or simply seeking to improve their singing ability, I provide clear, step-by-step guidance that leads to consistent growth. My students have gone on to pursue music at the collegiate level, perform professionally, and build long-lasting musical careers. I am committed to fostering a positive and empowering learning environment where students feel supported, confident, and motivated to reach their full potential.
