Mrs. Henderson has helped me in so many ways! She was able to simplify complicated lessons in grammar, comprehension, poetry and many other areas. She made lessons more interesting and was always quick to answer my questions. She understood that we wouldn't always be interested in the topic but she always found a way to help us connect.

I had the amazing opportunity to have Ms. Henderson as my English Honors teacher my senior year. Not only did she believe in me, she had a different way of teaching that really encouraged my type of writing and my inspirations as a writer. Ms. Henderson even gave me an English award that was given to me at graduation. I was an average student but she saw something more in me. She taught me many things including how to write an essay correctly which will help me when I go to college in the fall. It was definitely a wonderful experience being in her classroom.

She really connects with her students and gives more than just English lessons; she'll actually give you real-life lessons too. She is super funny and always makes sure everyone understands the content of what they are discussing or learning. She makes it easy with good directions and examples. She is flexible and is understanding. She was a great teacher for the two years I had her. Superprof worthy!

Kaylin was my English teacher my senior year of high school. My favorite aspect of of her teaching style was that she was always one-on-one with each student. She explained her lessons in a way that each individual would understand. Not only that, but listening to her teach was always fun and interactive, she made you WANT to learn. I would recommend her to others because she provides a stress free enviornment which was very beneficial to my comprehension, and I’m sure would be to many others as well.

Kaylin was my English teacher during my senior year of high school. She impacted my life greatly during the year that I had her as a teacher. Kaylin is invested in her students. Her outgoing personality and her passion for teaching makes her a wonderful teacher and makes the learning environment fun! Any student would be lucky to have her as a mentor/tutor.

I have previously had her as a teacher and I hated English and never thought I was good at it. She changed my mind about it and taught me many different methods in writing that made things so much easier. In reading she taught me how to break it down so I could actually comprehend it! If it wasn’t for her I would still hate English but now I’m confident in my writing and reading skills!
