About Luke
I have three master's degrees in mathematics and I have 8 years' experience tutoring students from Year 7 to undergraduate level.
I understand that maths can be a challenging subject to get to grips with, and I have good experience with finding ways to explain abstract mathematical concepts that suit different learners. I find it can be very satisfying when you're able to solve a problem or understand a concept you previously struggled with!

I began tutoring undergraduate maths students whilst I was a third-year maths student at university. I have continued tutoring since, and have 8 years' experience teaching all age ranges from Year 7 students up to undergraduate maths students. Teaching is something I've always enjoyed and find very rewarding!
I make it a priority to make my explanations clear, and for students to gain something out of every lesson. Every student is different, some love maths, others can find it daunting and challenging, and I think it's important teachers have the flexibility to adapt their teaching methods to their learners.
Lessons will be typically for 1 hour, focusing on one specific topic. I mainly teach undergraduate maths students.
