About Julien

With a decade of ESL teaching experience, I have helped high school and college students develop strong English communication skills. My teaching style is personalised, focusing on understanding each student’s learning preferences and goals.

I create engaging lessons that combine grammar, vocabulary, and practical communication practice. My sessions are interactive and designed to build both knowledge and confidence.

I am skilled at simplifying complex concepts and making learning enjoyable. I also emphasise consistency and practice, which are essential for language development.

My goal is to support students in achieving academic success and becoming confident English speakers.

About the lesson

I adopt a teaching approach grounded in Creativity, Communication, Compassion, and Problem-solving (C³P). Creativity is encouraged through interactive storytelling, role-playing, and project-based activities, inspiring students to express ideas freely and think beyond textbook exercises.

Communication is emphasised via discussions, debates, and collaborative tasks, helping learners improve speaking, listening, and comprehension skills while building confidence. Compassion ensures lessons are tailored to each student’s pace, learning style, and strengths, providing encouragement and guidance throughout their journey.

Problem-solving is embedded in lessons through real-life scenarios, analytical exercises, and practical challenges, enabling students to apply English skills logically and effectively. I also incorporate related subjects like reading comprehension, essay writing, and vocabulary building to provide a well-rounded learning experience.

My methodology develops students who are confident, creative, empathetic, and capable of communicating and solving problems effectively in diverse contexts.
