About Charmagne
Hello, I'm Charmagne Ponce with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education, specializing in English, and progress towards a Master of Arts in Education with a focus on Educational Management, I am well-equipped to make meaningful contributions to the field of education.
I began my teaching career as a High School English Teacher at Muntinlupa National High School in the Philippines, where I spent five fulfilling years nurturing young minds. Currently, I have the privilege of serving as a Middle School English Language Arts Teacher at Carver Middle School in the Scotland County School District, North Carolina. My time here has provided me with valuable insights and experiences, supported by my active State of North Carolina Professional License of International Faculty Conditional License in Language Arts 6-9.
In addition to my credentials in North Carolina, I hold a Professional Teacher License in English in the Philippines, demonstrating my dedication to education on a global scale. Furthermore, I possess an active Maryland State Department of Education Professional Eligibility Certificate in English 7-12 and Middle School English Language Arts 4-9, underscoring my adaptability and readiness to navigate diverse educational settings.

As an English tutor, my approach is student-centered and tailored to each individual's needs and learning style. I prioritize creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and asking questions.

Throughout our sessions, I provide constructive feedback, encouragement, and guidance to help students strengthen their language skills and build confidence in their abilities.
