I'm Emcee Shrutei. I've been anchoring for the past 3 years. I've recently discovered my love for teaching english.

It is hard to overstate the meaningful contributions that Shrutei has made to our school and surrounding community. As both her 10th and 11th grade English teacher, I've had the pleasure of seeing shrutei make profound contributions both in and out of the classroom. Her school and community service is motivated by a strong sense of social justice, which she informs through a nuanced and sophisticated understanding of English language. I can say with confidence that shrutei is one of the most caring and driven teacher I've ever seen in my fifteen years at the school.

As a creative minded lady, Shrutei is especially drawn to understand Different side and Jist of her teachings. She produced an extraordinary result, in which she went beyond all expectations to conduct Skype clases of her subject to make her students understand minute details. Shrutei has a great capacity to draw connections between past and present and to ground her understanding of current issues in the context of her subject. She never retreats to a simple answer or explanation, but is comfortable dealing with ambiguity. Shrutei's fascination with English language and communication skill for deep analysis have her an exemplary Teaching staff, as a well as a motivated activist driven to promote civil rights and work towards social equity.


Shrutei believes passionately in social progress and working for the common good. Her own personal experiences, along with her profound grasp on social communication skills, drive her advocacy of work. She is a talented, intelligent and very helpful as well as kind Teacher with the charisma, confidence, strong values, and respect for others to make a huge difference in the world around her. I'm looking forward to seeing all the good that Shruti continues to do for her fellow humanity in college and beyond, as well as the excellent work that she will produce at the college level.
