About Audrey

My teaching strategy for Singing is built on Flexibility, Empathy, Compassion, Communication, and Collaboration. I believe every learner has a unique voice, personal goals, and an individual learning speed. Because of this, I design lessons that adapt to each student’s level, whether they are beginners discovering their voice or advanced learners refining technique. I start by understanding the student’s vocal range, comfort level, and confidence. This helps me create personalised vocal warm-ups, breathing exercises, and pitch-control routines. Communication is a core part of my teaching. I always explain the purpose behind each exercise so students understand how it helps strengthen their voice. I give clear instructions and simple demonstrations to make learning easier. I also encourage students to ask questions and express difficulties without hesitation. My goal is to build a learning space where students feel respected and supported. Compassion and empathy guide the emotional side of my lessons. Many learners feel nervous about singing, so I use positive reinforcement to help them relax. I celebrate small improvements and help students overcome stage fear and vocal insecurities. Collaboration is another important part of my method. I work together with students to set goals such as improving vocal tone, expanding range, learning songs, or strengthening musical interpretation. Besides Singing, I also teach relevant subjects like Music Theory, Ear Training, Breath Control Techniques, and rhythm training. I use simple real-life examples to explain musical concepts and help students apply them directly in their singing. My teaching strategy aims not only to build strong vocal skills but also to help students enjoy music, feel confident in their abilities, and grow as expressive performers.

About the lesson

Imagine performing your favourite song in front of an audience and feeling confident, expressive, and in control of your voice. My teaching methodology, based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity (MCIC), is designed to make that dream possible for every student. I focus on motivation, helping students set clear goals, celebrate achievements, and maintain confidence throughout their learning journey. Communication ensures a supportive and interactive environment where students can ask questions, share ideas, and improve pitch, tone, articulation, and expression. Integrity provides honest feedback, structured practice, and a professional learning atmosphere. Creativity allows students to experiment with melodies, styles, and phrasing while developing their unique voice. I also teach music theory, rhythm, ear training, and stage presence to provide a complete musical education. Lessons are customised to the student’s skill level, goals, and interests, combining structured exercises, improvisation, and interactive activities. My approach strengthens vocal technique, expressive performance, confidence, and stage presence, helping students grow as skilled and confident singers while fostering a lifelong passion for music.
