About Garrett

I am a passionate French tutor with 10+ years of teaching experience, specializing in High School and College students, and I have successfully trained around 150 to 200 students. My teaching philosophy is centered on making learning both effective and enjoyable.

I believe that when students enjoy the learning process, they are more likely to stay motivated and achieve better results. I focus on building a strong foundation in grammar and vocabulary, while also developing speaking and listening skills through continuous practice.

I use simple explanations, engaging activities, and real-life situations to make lessons easy to understand and interesting. I also provide guidance for exams and help students improve their overall academic performance. One of my key achievements is helping students who initially found French difficult become confident learners who can communicate comfortably and perform well in their studies.

I strive to create a positive and encouraging atmosphere where students feel supported and motivated to succeed.

About the lesson

My French teaching methodology focuses on developing students’ confidence, understanding, and communication skills. I use real-life examples, case studies, and interactive exercises to show how the language is applied in authentic situations. I follow a flexible teaching approach, adapting lessons according to each student’s pace, level, and goals to ensure they receive personalized guidance.

Collaboration is a key part of my teaching, and I encourage students to participate in discussions, role-plays, and interactive exercises that improve fluency and comprehension. I also maintain a compassionate and supportive environment where students feel motivated to learn and explore the language.

Alongside French, I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, reading, writing, and cultural awareness to provide a comprehensive, immersive, and practical learning experience.
