About Avery

I am an enthusiastic French tutor with 15 years of experience teaching students from beginner to advanced levels, having worked with approximately 150–200 learners. My teaching approach emphasises personalised learning, ensuring that each lesson is designed according to the student’s individual goals and preferences.

I focus on building strong communication skills supported by a solid understanding of grammar and vocabulary. Through interactive lessons and real-world applications, I help students use French confidently in everyday situations.

I am committed to creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable to learn and improve. My goal is to make French learning both enjoyable and rewarding.

About the lesson

My French teaching approach is built on the principles of flexibility, empathy, compassion, communication, and collaboration, ensuring a personalised and enriching learning experience. I tailor each lesson to the individual needs of my students, adapting my teaching style to suit their goals, strengths, and areas for improvement.

With empathy and compassion, I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable taking risks and learning from their mistakes. Communication is a central focus, with an emphasis on developing fluency through consistent speaking and listening practice. I encourage students to actively participate and express themselves in French as much as possible.

Collaboration is integrated through engaging and interactive activities such as role-plays, discussions, and problem-solving exercises that simulate real-life situations. In addition to French, I incorporate grammar, vocabulary development, pronunciation, and cultural awareness to provide a comprehensive understanding of the language.

My goal is to help students build strong linguistic skills, confidence, and the ability to communicate effectively in a variety of contexts.
