About Luke
With 8 years of experience as a guitar tutor, I am deeply committed to helping students discover and refine their musical talents. My journey with the guitar began early in life, and over the years, I have developed a profound passion for teaching and sharing my knowledge. My approach is not only about developing technical skills but also about fostering a genuine love for music.
Throughout my career, I have worked with a diverse range of students, from beginners just picking up the guitar for the first time to advanced players seeking to enhance their technique. With 8 years of teaching experience, my guitar lessons are designed to build a strong foundation and help students of all levels advance their skills. Each lesson is tailored to focus on essential aspects such as chord progressions, scale practice, and improvisation. Understanding and mastering chords is fundamental to playing a wide variety of songs, and we start with the basics before moving on to more complex progressions and inversions.
Scales are another critical component of our lessons. Learning scales not only enhances your technical proficiency but also improves your understanding of musical structures and harmony. We cover major and minor scales, modes, and their applications in different genres, providing you with the tools needed to create solos and melodic lines that resonate.
Improvisation is an exciting aspect of playing the guitar, and we dedicate time to exploring this creative skill. By using scales and chord knowledge, you’ll learn how to improvise over backing tracks and develop your own musical ideas.
