I am a 4th grade teacher with 27 years of classroom experience as well as individual and small group tutoring. I have a Bachelor's in Education and a Master's in Educational Leadership. I am also a certified Family Trainer in The 7 Habits of Happy Kids.

My main goal is to help children develop a love for reading while increasing their vocabulary and strengthening their comprehension. Lessons are based on the science of reading. A typical session is approximately 45 minutes to an hour and consist of word work, comprehension strategies, and responding to text. Lessons are designed for elementary age children Kdg-6th.
