About Marly

A little bit about me: - I'm great with kids and know how to navigate their frustrations and help them grasp concepts. I've worked as a camp counselor and have taught Sunday school to young children for over 7 years. - I have over 3 years of math tutoring experience from elementary school to grade 12. - I'm a recent design graduate practicing UX design and have a love for learning and sharing valuable knowledge with this younger generation!

About the lesson

Learn more about my teaching style & structure here: (concealed information) Lesson Structure: - Start with a 10-15 minute review of the previous week's concepts, tests, and worksheets. - Gauge the tutee's understanding and difficulty level through questions and answers. - Thoroughly explain new concepts during the session, providing additional work/info sheets for deeper understanding. - Take frequent pauses to ensure the student comprehends the material. - Wrap up the lesson by providing a 'tips' sheet for further guidance. - Assign sample questions, worksheets, or a small comprehensive exercise to be completed alongside academic work for maximum performance.
