About Destiny
I have 2 years' middle school math/pre-AP math teaching experience in addition to my current online coaching and instructing positions in elementary/middle school math. I have taught more than 300 students and am currently tutoring/coaching 35 students. My students have grown in their number sense and have further established their foundation in math concepts.

My teaching method is to ensure my students understand the reasons why and how math processes work. I love to ask why and how students arrived at their answers to know if they truly understand the concepts. I first ask students how to perform a problem, and then assist them in their areas of confusion. After working on problems together, I ask them to independently explain how to work through a problem.
