About Joy
I am a passionate saxophone tutor with 10 years of teaching experience, guiding more than 300 high school and college students on their musical journey. Teaching music gives me great happiness because I get to shape young minds through sound, rhythm, and discipline. One special milestone in my career was preparing a group of beginners for their first public performance. Many of them were nervous on day one, but with practice and encouragement, they played with confidence on stage. Some of my students are now active members of school and college bands. My teaching style is simple, patient, and well-planned. I focus on correct breathing, clean tone, finger accuracy, rhythm control, and music reading. I believe learning should be calm and pressure-free so students can enjoy the process. I respect every student’s pace and guide them step by step. My goal is to help students grow not only as musicians but also as confident and disciplined individuals.

My saxophone teaching starts with clear basics and strong discipline. Through simple communication, I explain every lesson in an easy way so students understand without stress. I always encourage questions and active learning. Accountability helps students stay regular with practice. I create simple daily exercises, weekly goals, and regular progress checks. This helps students develop good practice habits and steady improvement. Integrity means learning with honesty and full effort. I focus on building correct breathing, posture, tone quality, finger control, and rhythm accuracy. As students improve, I introduce scales, sight-reading, and performance pieces. Along with saxophone, I also teach music theory, ear training, rhythm practice, and beginner harmony. My aim is to help students become disciplined and confident saxophone players.
