About Michael
I have tutored cousins and family friends in Maths ever since I was in year 9 from 11+ up to and including A levels. One of my students was predicted a C in GCSE Maths before i tutored him and with my help he was able to achieve an A, allowing him to attend his desired sixth form and take his desired subjects. My teaching method is to first ask the student whether they require any help in a certain topic and help them understand that topic. If not, i will make sure that student understands previous parts of the course so they do not go back to that topic and suddenly realise they don't remember what to do. I will also help them get ahead in the course so when the student comes to that topic in class they will have a better understanding of what to do and understand the topic even better, making it less likely they will lose their skills in this topic.
